My approach

Children need a unique approach to help them feel safe, seen and soothed. I specialize in play-based therapeutic interventions that support healthy child development and relationships. I offer a variety of tools to engage kids in therapy including expressive arts, projective play, sensorimotor activities, puppetry, sand tray and more.

I am a Registered Social Worker and Certified Play Therapist and I offer playful psychotherapy for children & youth.

My approach focuses on neurodevelopmental care to help kids better understand their brain & body. Some common treatment goals include:

- Helping children & youth with social or school stressors

- Identifying, expressing and managing emotions

- Supporting family systems & parent-child relationships

- Resiliency after trauma, loss or adversity

- Co-regulation & new coping strategies

- Navigating the experiences of neurodiversity (ADHD, Autism, etc.)

- Understanding & managing anxiety

Finding a therapist for your family is like trying to find a favourite pair of shoes! Sometimes you have to try on a couple of pairs before you find the right fit. Reach out and let's chat about whether I might be a good fit for your family.
